Exhibition "Nomads of our time". Guided tour on January 11, 2025

Until 26 January 2025, the Museum Cloth + Technology in Neumünster the exhibition “Nomads of our time. Migrant sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein”.

This photo report is a pioneering work beyond Schleswig-Holstein, as it is the first time that it pays tribute to the lives of those involved in Germany's transhumance on this scale and in this density.

author's tour on January 11, 2025

After the successful first tour of the exhibition last November, another author tour will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 15:00 p.m.:

Holger Rüdel provides information about the creation, the process and the challenges of the report. He also takes a look behind the scenes at the on-site shoot, explains his visual language using a few examples and gives an insight into his post-production technique in the "digital darkroom".

Guided Tour Information Museum Tuch + Technik

The project “Nomads of our time. Travelling sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein” was largely funded by the European Union and the state of Schleswig-Holstein.

The exhibition has been shown in several locations under the direction of the Sparkassenstiftung Schleswig-Holstein since 2023. Following the presentation in Neumünster, the show can be seen in the Sylt Museum (Keitum).
