Exhibition "Nomads of Our Time" at the Museum Tuch + Technik
Until 26 January 2025, the Museum Cloth + Technology in Neumünster my work from the photo reportage “Nomads of our time. Migrant sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein”.
“This photo report is a pioneering work”
75 photographs document the daily challenges in the lives of the "nomads of our time". The sheep farms Mäharbeiten Bärenshöft, Fjordland, Transhumanz and Aukrug were portrayed. This photo report is a pioneering work beyond Schleswig-Holstein, as it is the first to pay tribute to the lives of those involved in Germany's transhumant sheep farms on such a scale and in such detail.

The project “Nomads of our time. Travelling sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein” was largely funded by the European Union and the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
The exhibition with 75 photographs from the report will be shown at several locations under the direction of the Sparkassenstiftung Schleswig-Holstein: Exhibition tour “Nomads of our time”
The accompanying volume to the exhibition (128 pages with 116 black and white photographs as well as contributions by Jochen Missfeldt and Andreas Schenk) was published by the Sparkassenstiftung Schleswig-Holstein and is available in Wachholtz Publishing appeared.
