A new permanent gallery has been opened in the Kiel Ministry of the Environment: 16 pictures from my series about the last fishermen of Holm and the “nomads of our time” – the migratory sheep farmers in Schleswig-Holstein.

Knud Knudsen is the only mail carrier in Germany who delivers mail on foot across the mudflats. Since 2001, he has been delivering letters and packages from Pellworm to Hallig Süderoog in the North Frisian Wadden Sea, where only one family lives.
"Promotion": After its stop on Sylt, the touring exhibition "Nomads of Our Time. Wandering Sheep Farms in Schleswig-Holstein" will be shown on the Bungsberg, the highest point in the state, until December 14, 2025.
"Changing Tides – North Frisia and the Sea": This is the title of a new photo report by Holger Rüdel, commissioned by the Schleswig-Holstein Savings Bank Foundation. The project will culminate in an exhibition and a companion volume.
