Until 1867, Alaska belonged to the Tsarist Empire as "Russian America." Even today, more than 150 years after its sale to the United States, numerous Russian traces can be discovered.
Anchor Point is located on the Pacific coast of Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula and is home to dozens of bald eagles, which were nearly extinct in the United States 70 years ago.
With its endless expanse, Alaska embodies the image of untouched nature and offers an overwhelming abundance of photographic opportunities.

Hammershus on the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm is the largest castle ruin in Northern Europe. The fortress was built in the early 13th century and was the seat of Danish kings for a long time. Only in aerial photographs do the impressive dimensions of the complex become apparent.
