Film about “Nomads of our time” on NDR

The Norddeutscher Rundfunk reported in its Schleswig-Holstein magazine about the photo report "Nomads of our time. Migrant sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein" by Holger Rüdel. The outdoor recordings took place in collaboration with the shepherdess Käthe Kimmel and her flock near Groß Rheide, south of Schleswig.

“Nomads of our time” on television: The Norddeutscher Rundfunk reported in its Schleswig-Holstein magazine about the photo report, which focuses on four migrant sheep farms from the northernmost federal state. The reason for the film was: Start of the exhibition in the Nord-Ostsee Sparkasse in Schleswig on March 30, 2023.

For the outdoor shots, the NDR team had contacted the shepherdess Kathe Kimmel arranged to meet near Groß Rheide, south of Schleswig. Their herd formed the appropriate framework for our statements on the “Nomads of Our Time” project, which will be shown in several other locations after Schleswig. The book for the exhibition is in Wachholtz-Verlag published and available in every bookstore.
