Hans-Jürgen Burkard is one of the most influential German reportage photographers of our time. His long-standing work for GEO, his distinctive visual style, and his narrative depth have significantly shaped modern reportage photography. Exhibition projects that I collaborated with him on at the Schleswig City Museum and in the nos.PHOTOMENTA The stages I have realized mark milestones in my own curatorial work.
