Ragnar Axelsson (RAX)

Ragnar Axelsson, internationally known as RAX, is one of the most important documentary photographers of the North. His long-term projects on life in the Arctic, on people, animals, and the changing environment, combine documentary precision with a clear, black-and-white visual language. Working with him has profoundly influenced my own photographic and curatorial approach.
