Nomads of our time. Until June 30th in Schleswig

The exhibition tour “Nomads of Our Time” began on March 30, 2023. Migrant sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein” – opened to a full house in the Gallery of the Nord-Ostsee Sparkasse in SchleswigThe exhibition includes 75 works from my photo reportage, in which I accompanied four migratory sheep herds over two years as they moved through moors and heaths, through villages and along roads.

“With his unmistakable visual language, the photographer has succeeded in creating an aesthetic monument to the remaining transhumance sheep farms in Schleswig-Holstein,” said the curator and photography expert Dr. Dörte Beier at the opening in Schleswig.

The exhibition can be seen until June 30, 2023 in the gallery of the Nord-Ostsee Sparkasse in Schleswig, Stadtweg 18. The 75 pictures will then be displayed in the gallery in Kiel Sparkassenstiftung Schleswig-Holstein gezeigt.

Important note: For organizational reasons, the exhibition will be taken down during the day on June 30, 2023.

The volume accompanying the exhibition (128 pages with 116 black and white photographs as well as contributions by Jochen Missfeldt and Andreas Schenk) is available in Wachholtz Publishing appeared.
